Tasting notes

Edgar Rodríguez, Sommelier

I have had the opportunity to try the GRUIT beers and I must say that it is an interesting selection of very different beers. One can enjoy a variety of styles without hops, from the most gentle and refreshing to the most powerful and tasty. Spicy aromas and great complexity are the signatures of the author.

Tasting notes by Beer Sommelier Edgar Rodriguez from the “Racó d´en Cesc” whom we thank for his work and encourage to continue in his task of dissemination of his knowledge of the beer world. Thanks Edgar!

Very cloudy, white beer with yellowish hues and a great capacity for retaining its head.
Gruit Blond

Gruit Blond

A murky beer, with an intense yellow colour and a great capacity to produce a creamy, white head. It has medium carbonation.
Gruit Amber

Gruit Amber

Here we have a totally crystalline, dark and intense amber-coloured beer with a large head and medium carbonation.
Gruit Inferno

Gruit Inferno

A fascinating, crystal-clear beer, yellow gold in colour. It produces a substantial head owing to its high level of carbonation.

It is a cloudy, chestnut-brown beer with a good, ochre-coloured head and medium carbonation.
