We are confronted by a white beer with yellowish hues, very murky and large-capacity foam to retain, which has a broken hue white. The Gruit Wit is a very subtle beer in its aroma. Rather than the classic banana aroma typical of a wheat beer we find surprisingly earthy notes followed by aromas of lime, and rose petals. Wheat stands out on the palate amongst flavours of an acidic nature, specifically lemon, accompanied by a fine carbonation. The finish is dry and without perceptible bitterness.
With this beer we can work the range of combinations of seafood and fish, always bearing in mind that, since we have a delicate beer, we can not put any powerful dish. I recommend the scallops as an option, which give much play in the kitchen and are perfect for this beer.
